Sky News host Alan Jones says governments must be nervous because it is emerging that politicians have “done more damage than the virus” around the country.

Mr Jones said fines are being “hoisted around left, right and centre” to people not complying with restrictions.

“Remember kids were banned from schooling, the Constitution has been ripped up”.

“State borders have become barriers”. He said there are restrictions everywhere with no “epidemiological justification”.

“It is virtual martial law”.

Mr Jones said across Australia, outside of Victoria, 12 people are in hospital and seven are in intensive care.

“And yet there is talk that entire cities could be declared hot spots”.

Mr Jones also spoke to the Executive Director of Self Employed Australia Ken Phillips about the possible occupational health and safety ramifications that may come from the Andrews government’s handling of Melbourne’s hotel quarantine program.

“The advice that I have from very senior occupational health and safety lawyers, given the evidence we’ve seen from the current inquiry, is that prosecutions should occur”.
