In my book Coming Apocalypse (written in March 2020 and published in April 2020) I wrote: ‘cheques and cash will be gone within a year or two at most. We’ll have to use plastic for everything we do. That will give the State complete knowledge about our movements and habits.’
I’ve been fighting for decades to save cash. I’m delighted that more people have, at last, joined the fight! Let’s hope…
