There are several reasons. First, America and the EU want to control the oil, the metals, the rare earths and the food supplies which Russia has. For decades, most wars have been about oil and this one isn’t very different. Ukraine, on Russia’s border, is deliberately being used as a weapon against Russia – with NATO paying for the war and telling Zelensky precisely what to do.
